You Can Now Buy a Bronzer With Mariah Carey’s Face On It
You may not think of Mariah Carey often, unless you’re responding to beef with “I don’t know her.”
But one time of the year where you’re guaranteed to think of Mariah Carey is in the holiday season. After all, her rendition of “All I Want For Christmas Is You,” is iconic.
This is why it makes sense that Mariah Carey is launching her second makeup collaboration with MAC during this pivotal time when all the Christmas-lovers are already decorating their houses and prematurely listening to Christmas music.
But the makeup line isn’t in-your-face Christmas with glitter red lipsticks and bold green eyeshadows. Instead, it’s tasteful neutrals – from blushes to eyelashes – with names that allude to Mariah’s famous tracks, like “All I Want” and “Touch My Body.”
But the real pièce de résistance is a bronzer called “My Mimi.” And it’s literally Mimi, as in her face, in the damn bronzer palette.
I mean, what more could you want, right?
Regardless of if the bronzer freaks you out or not, getting your Christmas obsessed friend the “All I Want” lipstick doesn’t sound like a horrible idea. I mean, you can shade her while also gifting her a nice lipstick by MAC. Win-win.
The collection is launching online on December 8th and in stores on the 15th, and like most MAC collabs, it likely won’t last long.
