PREMIERE: SNBRN’s “Sometimes” For Your MDW Party

Just in time for Memorial Day Weekend, SNBRN has released a new track. SNBRN’s music has typically been described as “sunset house” as an ode to his California roots and his beachy vibe. Check out his latest release, “Sometimes,” below, and see what SNBRN had to say about summer festivals, meeting girls in LA, and going through airport security with a vibrator.

Why the name SNBRN?

Why not? I burn easily.

“Sometimes” is an upbeat track with darker lyrics that seem to be about the loneliness of constantly traveling, can you tell us more what this is about?

I’ve spent the past year on the road getting used to that life. As dark as things get, there’s always hope there. I really didn’t want the song to be sad, but more up-lifting. Sometimes things have to fall apart before something great can happen.

What are your five essentials for festival season?
1. Converse
2. Sunscreen
3. Parliament Lights
4. Ray Bans
5. Joints

What’s the best way to get laid at a concert?

Lots of eye contact and liquid courage.

You tweeted about seeing a guy puke in the airport urinal, what’s the craziest thing you’ve seen in airport amidst all of your traveling?
This woman was getting pulled to the secondary section of TSA with this insane vibrator and everyone in line was pissing themselves laughing.

You’re based in LA, what’s the best thing about California girls?

They’re very healthy and take good care of themselves.

What do you do if you’re in the club and one of your tracks starts playing?

I usually break out in dance moves and sing along. “ohh hay I know this track!” Mildly composed, of course.

Where’s the best place to meet girls in LA? The worst place?

Runyon Canyon! The worst would be a strip mall parking lot.

Best pick-up line you’ve ever heard?

“Are you my appendix?? ‘Cuz I don’t understand how you work, but this feeling in my stomach makes me want to take you out.”
