FEATURE INTERVIEW:
What is your beauty philosophy?
My beauty philosophy has to be “less is more.” When I was younger, I loved to wear heavy makeup to cover up my freckles and now I embrace my beauty with minimal makeup.
What beauty product are you obsessed with at the moment?
The beauty product that I am obsessed with at the moment has to be the Elf Soft Glam Satin Foundation! It doesn’t feel cakey on the skin and is very hydrating, which is perfect to achieve that glowy summer skin!
What beauty advice has your abuela given you that you still use to this day?
A beauty tip that my mom taught me is to curl your eyelashes with a spoon! It might seem a bit bizarre, but instead of using an eyelash crimper you use the edges of the spoon to curl your eyelashes and it lasts way longer!
How is your creativity disrupting the beauty industry?
One way that my creativity is disrupting the beauty industry is by using beauty products for different purposes. For example, I like to use my Patrick Ta Glow Balm on my face as a dewy highlighter, instead of on my body. I love it! To me, makeup has no rules and sometimes it’s okay to make up your own.
What beauty collabs have you done that have been your favorites?
By far my favorite beauty collab has to be creating my own makeup palette with BH Cosmetics. I was able to create a full custom makeup palette that turns into your own mini makeup vanity!
Do you have any plans to create your own beauty brand?
I am launching something super exciting very soon!
What is next for you?
Besides my beauty career, podcast, nonprofit organization, and my investments as an entrepreneur, I will be launching my very own product later this year and I am so thrilled to share it with the world!
