What people freaked out about online this week
This week on everybody’s favorite Internet rage round-up, 15 Minutes of Infamy, we have a lot of ladies to discuss.
Side-note: have you noticed that most of the dumb stuff people get mad about on social media has to do with women? Like unless it’s some bro saying he’d never go on a date with somebody who didn’t look like a supermodel, guys mostly just get a free pass.
It doesn’t seem fair, but then again, if god would have wanted women to be treated fairly, he would have given them penises.
Anyway, let’s not get lost into that quagmire and just get into it already.

Karrueche Tran getting a restraining order against Chris Brown
On Thursday, a federal judge granted Karrueche Tran a five-year restraining order from human garbage fire Chris Brown.
According to her in-person testimony, TMZ reports Chris Brown demanded she give him back all the bling he gave her while they were dating, and when she was like, “nah,” he allegedly threatened violence, which given his track record needs to be taken seriously.
Plus last year he legit stalked her and commented on pictures of her on Instagram saying, “I still want it!” Chris Brown stans say that’s just him being romantic, but anybody who isn’t out of their minds can see his actions for what they are: psycho.

And yesterday after Karrueche finally got her restraining order, the Chris Brown stans of the universe came out to give her a piece of their twisted minds.
Says Facebook user Ron Presley, “Glad she got the restraining order” but “why didn’t you just give him the jewelry back? Sorta makes you look like a gold digger. Jst give the guy the bling back and you probably could’ve avoided some of the post-breakup drama.”
While Rosa Martinez didn’t seem to understand how restraining orders work. She wrote on Facebook, “For someone to say they’re trying to stay away from him. Yet she’s doing this? Trust and believe Chris is not about to risk his life, career, and being away from his child for someone like you. Don’t forget to say thanks to him because you wouldn’t even have that little career if it wasn’t for him.”
And Facebook user Brandon Johnson was even less subtle about defending C Breezy, saying, “She nothing but a classy hoe and saying classy is giving her too much so I’ll say just an upgraded hoe. Lol”
And this isn’t even a new phenomenon. People have been victim-blaming Karrueche for a while now.
Karrueche likes the attention Chris brown is giving her cuz if she didn’t, she would’ve blocked him like any normal person

Again, Chris Brown is the actual worst.
How anybody can defend him and try and deflect the blame back onto Karruche just shows how dumb people are. Check yourself, guys. Ask yourself how you’d respond to the situation if instead of this stuff going down between two famous people you’ve never met, one of whom you’ve idolized for years, it happened between one of your best friends and some random fuckboy she met at a club.
Would it really be so cute then?
Didn’t think so.
Moving on.
Kim Kardashian’s “blackface” ad
After announcing her new makeup line, KKW, Kim Kardashian uploaded a picture advertising her new creme contour & highlight kit, where she looked a little darker than normal.
Since there’s nothing people love more than getting mad over anything the Kardashians do, it didn’t take long for people to start crying blackface in her general direction.
you black now sis?

But as some people pointed out, Kim isn’t white. She’s Armenian. And when she tans, she gets dark.
She’s Armenian, aka naturally darker complected, let’s all calm down

Yes, the Kardashians have made their share of mistakes regarding cultural appropriation. That is absolutely true. But c’mon, this picture isn’t Kim doing blackface.
I could write you a couple more sentences about this, but I found a Twitter user who captures my way of thinking perfectly. So I’ll just let her do my work for me.
THE REACH for people saying this is blackface.. y’all really just want to hate her.

Human Spongebob
On Thursday night, 3D artist Miguel Vasquez decided it would be a cool idea to make human versions of Spongebob Squarepants and Patrick the Starfish.

Really? You have to threaten to pull out a gun if you see something you don’t like on the Internet one more time?
Friend, I have a piece of advice for you. Just turn off your phone.
Also, if you’re getting this twisted about a frickin piece of artwork, maybe you need to go smoke some weed or something. Just sayin.
Bachelor in Paradise contestant Amanda Stanton’s mama drama
Last and certainly least, we have Amanda Stanton and her mama drama.
By now you’ve probably heard about the sexual misconduct allegations regarding Bachelor in Paradise, right? If you haven’t, read up. It’s kind of mind-blowing.
READ ALSO: What you need to know about the Bachelor in Paradise allegations
Anyway, we’re not here to talk about that actual drama that people can and should get riled up about. We’re here to talk about Amanda Stanton, another Bachelor in Paradise contestant who’s supposedly been getting mad hate because she has two young children and she decided to leave them for a couple month and do a reality show.
And I say allegedly because today I scrolled through a handful of her Instagram pictures, and while I could find a handful of outraged Amanda Stanton fans clapping back on her behalf at the haters, I couldn’t find any of those comments myself.
Anyway, Amanda told Entertainment Tonight:
“I don’t normally like to address the trolls/mom shamers … but it’s so out of control! I’d like to take a moment to clarify first of all that my kids DO have a father that is part of their life. They spend time with him, too. So if you see a photo of me without my kids one weekend and comment something like ‘mother of the year’ or ‘wow shouldn’t she be with her kids?’ Well, there’s a VERY good chance that I can’t be with them because they’re with their dad.”
She then went on to point out that Bachelor in Paradise doesn’t take that long to film, and whatever, it makes her mad money so she can support her two darling children like a good mom.
Anyway, even though I couldn’t find any proof myself, I’m sure it does happen to her all the time because people love to shit on moms for not being good enough moms.
Either way, just because a woman chooses to have children doesn’t mean she has to give up her career. And just because Amanda isn’t a high-powered lawyer doesn’t mean people get to shit on her for not being with her kids 24/7.
End of story.
Well, that’s all the time I have for this week, but as always, stay mad, fam.
