Selena Gomez’s New Song Is 100% About Justin Bieber
Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber broke up what seems like a lifetime ago, but neither one seems to be able to let go.
Justin Bieber has not been handling Selena’s new relationship very well and today, Selena released a new song called “It Ain’t Me” that’s 100% about Justin Bieber.
Or at least it’s 100% supposed to make us think it’s about Justin Bieber.

In all the years Selena Gomez has been a famous person, she’s only seriously dated one other famous person.
His name, as we all know, is Justin Bieber.
Therefore, any breakup song of Selena’s is pretty much guaranteed to remind her fans and journalists alike of Justin Bieber, but “It Ain’t Me” provides one very solid, concrete piece of lyrical evidence to back this up.

In the second verse, Selena sings:
“I had a dream / we were back to seventeen / summer nights and the liberties / never growing up.”
Guess when Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber started dating.
When she was seventeen.
Taken in that context, let’s just say the rest of the song does not paint Selena and Justin’s last moments together in a remotely positive light.
Just look at what she says about him in the chorus:
“Who’s gonna rock you when the sun won’t let you sleep? Who’s waking up to drive you home when you’re drunk and all alone?” Who’s gonna walk you through the dark side of the morning? It ain’t me.”
Yikes.
That’s high key embarrassing for Justin and totally savage of Selena.
