FEATURE INTERVIEW:

When did you realize that drag was your destiny?
It all started with “RuPaul’s Drag Race.” The moment I watched it, I thought, “Hey, I can do that!” After that, I packed my bags and moved to Seattle, where the drag scene was booming. It felt like the universe aligned, and all my artistic interests finally clicked into place.

How would you describe your drag in three words and what inspires you?
I’d say it’s interchangeable, magnetic and of course, charismatic. I adore futuristic vibes and being versatile; I get bored quickly, so I love to mix things up and keep it fresh.

What’s your favorite part of the transformation process?
Oh, it has to be creating my signature triangular nose! Every time I do it, I feel like I’m getting closer to becoming the fabulous diva I aspire to be—even if I’m only halfway through the makeup!

How does your cultural background influence your drag artistry?
Being Latina is just inherently sexy, right? It’s in our blood! I weave elements of my culture into my performances, like spicing things up with some Latin tunes. It’s all about bringing that electric energy to the stage.

What’s the boldest thing you’ve ever done on stage?
Let’s just say I’ve seen some wild things in Seattle—like, “Whoa, did that just happen?!” But for me, my performances are more conceptual. I once did a cow number that involved whipped cream. Yes, I like to share the love… and the cream!

How does your personality shift once the makeup is off?
I’d love to say I’m the same fabulous person, but let’s be real—there’s definitely a difference! Out of drag, I’m more reserved and enjoy my personal space. While in drag, I’m a towering powerhouse filled with confidence, ready to strut my stuff.

How do you take care of your skin after all that makeup?
It’s a delicate dance, trust me. I wash my face like it’s a life-or-death mission, loading up on serums and moisturizers. My secret weapon? A Clinique moisturizer that keeps my skin feeling fresh and fabulous!

What’s your favorite makeup hack?
Forget lipstick! I use cream foundation for my lips, mix in a bit of white, and then set it with powder. It’s a game-changer! And if I ever overdo it on blush or contour, I grab some powder foundation in my shade to blend it all out. Instant fix!

What’s your message for those dreaming of stepping into the spotlight but feeling a bit timid?
Don’t be afraid! Seriously, the opinions of others don’t mean a thing. What matters is your happiness. If you’re smiling at the end of the day, you’re doing it right. Be creative, have fun, and let your light shine!
