Okay, are Kylie and Khloé’s pregnancies sponsored by Calvin Klein or what?

If you were hoping this week would bring a definitive answer to the most haunting question of our times — is Kylie Jenner pregnant? slash has she already had her kid already? — then I’m sorry to disappoint you, but she and Kris have still not decided to announce yet.

She did, however, appear in a series of Calvin Klein ads that basically confirm that she is or was pregnant — which, in addition to Khloé’s very Calvin birth announcement, makes us wonder if the Ks’ triple-pregnancy storyline is actually just spon con for Calvin Klein.

First, the new ad: in the first photo dropped on Instagram, Kylie is covering her entire body, from the bustline down, with a blanket. This is very unlike the thirst-trap-friendly gal we know and love. The old Kylie would never shy away from a chance to display her assets, and deservedly so.

In the ad, all of the other Kardashian-Jenner sisters are pretty much half-naked. They’re all in bras and undies, with the exception of Kourtney, who’s topless but covering her tots with a blanket, and Kylie.

Just sister things!

In the other ads, Kylie is similarly covered up:

They also play a bizarre non-drinking version of “Never Have I Ever,” which I have never ever seen in my life.

“Never have I ever eaten a rattlesnake” is Kylie’s, and I’m just dying to know how much the sisters were paid to lay around and talk about this stuff, and why it wasn’t enough skrilla for Kylie to scrounge up a slightly normal never-have-I-ever.

Calvin Klein suggest we lounge in our undies and play drinking games with our own families, too: the brand tweeted a suggestion for fans to “show us your family” using the #mycalvins hashtag. I’m gonna pass on that, but good suggestion!

Anyway, here’s why it seems like Calvin Klein is more invested in the Kardashians’ recent string of pregnancies than the average brand: remember when Khloé announced her pregnancy, and the Instagram photo prominently displayed the Calvin Klein logo?

My greatest dream realized! We are having a baby! I had been waiting and wondering but God had a plan all along. He knew what He was doing. I simply had to trust in Him and be patient. I still at times can’t believe that our love created life! Tristan, thank you for loving me the way that you do! Thank you for treating me like a Queen! Thank you for making me feel beautiful at all stages! Tristan, most of all, Thank you for making me a MOMMY!!! You have made this experience even more magical than I could have envisioned! I will never forget how wonderful you’ve been to me during this time! Thank you for making me so happy my love! Thank you to everyone for the love and positive vibes! I know we’ve been keeping this quiet but we wanted to enjoy this between our family and close friends as long as we could privately. To enjoy our first precious moments just us ❤️ Thank you all for understanding. I am so thankful, excited, nervous, eager, overjoyed and scared all in one! But it’s the best bundle of feelings I’ve ever felt in my life! ❤️❤️❤️

It seems like an odd choice at the time — why share your pregnancy announcement with a brand? But now, knowing the Kardashians and Jenners are starring in a CK ad campaign, it makes a little more sense.

It remains to be seen whether Calvin Klein will be involved in Kylie’s announcement, but literally anything is possible at this point. Let’s wait and find out.
