A definitive list of all the Kardashian-Jenner baby name and photo reveals

The biggest question on everyone’s minds right now is: when and how will the Kardashians reveal the faces and names of their latest petits bébés?

Over the years, they have all made these announcements in their own way. And no, not all of them were cover stories with People!

All of this Kardashian baby buzz got us to thinking: what do the Kardashians usually do to announce their babies’ births? Is it always a magazine cover? An “Ellen” appearance? An exclusive password-protected slideshow on one of their apps?

So we compiled a list. It turns out every Kardashian kid has had a wild, news-breaking baby announcement in their own way. Even Rob. This is really just because we can’t get enough of these adorable kids (our hearts!).

Check out our list below of all the announcements about the Kardashian grandchildren — even their names are news. Just ask Kimye and little Chi-Town, or as we’ll be calling her on the advice of TV writer Lauren Ashley Smith, Mid West.

1. Mason Disick

Kourtney is a fan of revealing her children’s names and first photos at the same time, usually on a magazine cover.

Mason was first shown on the cover of Life & Style, in Kourtney’s arms. Scott was in the article, just not featured on the cover. Mason’s birth was also filmed for the 4th season of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians,” being one of the most public Kardashian births yet.

2. Penelope Disick

Penelope was the end of the normal names for the Kardashian grandchildren. Her first photos and name were also announced via a magazine cover story, on US Weekly. Scott yet again did not make the cover, but is in the supplementary photos. All we care about is Kourtney and the cute little babies anyway, right??

3. Reign Disick

Now the names start to get interesting, but the announcements get less so.

I think Kourtney gave up on the covers because she wanted to lay low with her family life, which we totally respect. (Or maybe the paychecks got smaller…)

Kourtney announced Reign’s name and photo together, as well, on her Instagram page. I like Kourtney’s efficiency with the double whammies.

4. North West

Baby name #1 was confirmed by none other than the Kardashians’ preferred propaganda arm, E! News, only after the baby was born. They also mentioned they would nickname her “Nori.”

As for the first photo, Kanye appeared on the finale of Kris Jenner’s talk show and talked about baby North. He mentioned that he almost did a deal with a magazine for the first look of the royal baby, but chose Kris’ show for sentimental reasons.

Then they showed this pic and although the world awwww-ed like our lives depended on it, it was sadly not enough to save Kris’s now-defunct show.

5. Saint West

Saint’s name was revealed by Kim Kardashian two days after his birth on her Twitter with an emoji line-up of their new family of four, a.k.a. the modern version of those stick figure family stickers on the back of your car.

Saint’s first photo was also shared by Kim, via her app — meaning you had to pay to have the app in order to see it. Of course people took screenshots, though, and the photos eventually (immediately?) surfaced for those who didn’t have access.

6. Dream Kardashian

Rob and Chyna’s baby name was revealed on the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” Twitter account, calling her the “one and only.” This makes sense seeing as she’s truly the one and only Kardashian-named baby.

The couple gave E! News an exclusive, and they released Dream’s first baby photo in an article all about the new daughter.

7. Chicago West

Kim and Kanye are notorious for keeping us waiting on their kids’ names and faces. But third time’s the charm for Kimye obsessives, because they told us their latest offspring’s name pretty early in the game.

They have named her Chicago after Kanye’s hometown, and will nickname her Chi (pronounced “shy”).

Kim finally also found her appropriate moment to reveal baby Chi’s face: during Kylie’s pregnancy/birth announcement video!!! Wow, ok! Here she is:

We know. They didn’t give us much. But, look at those cheeks!

8. Stormi Webster

Kylie Jenner couldn’t have given her kid a more bizarre name, let’s be honest. It doesn’t quite roll off the tongue. Our editor also pointed out its strange connection to Trump here. But alas, Stormi is her name.

Turns out this is also our big “photo reveal.” Not really a reveal, Kylie! But as she mentioned in the post previous to Stormi’s debut, she is keeping this baby out of the spotlight. If Kylie was able to keep her pregnancy news on lock for 9+ months, we probably won’t get a good glimpse of Stormi for a hot minute.
