Miley Came Out of Social Media Hiding to a Do a Huge Interview

Miley Cyrus is known for being a lot at all times, but for the past two months, she’s been MIA.

And her Instagram feed, once legendary for the sheer amount of selfies, art projects, and dog pics it could cram into a single 24-hour period, was so silent you could hear the ash from one of Miley’s joints hit the floor.

But yesterday Miley came out of social media hiding to promote a brand spankin new profile she sat down for where she talked about weed, Liam, and how she’s done with the nipple pasties for a while.

The interview begins with the kind of jaw on the floor revelation that happens to most people in their mid-twenties.

“This is crazy,” Miley began, trying to prepare the world for the sentence that was about to come out of her mouth, “but I haven’t smoked weed in three weeks!”

But why, Miley, why?!

“I like to surround myself with people that make me want to get better, more evolved, open,” she continued, “and I was noticing, it’s not the people that are stoned.”

You think, girl?

It goes hand-in-hand with her decision to pass on puff, puff, passing but Miley then went on to confirm that yes, she’s “getting out of my Dead Petz phase.”

“I like talking to people that don’t agree with me, but I don’t think I can do that in an aggressive way,” Miley said. “I don’t think those people are going to listen to me when I’m sitting there in nipple pasties, you know?”

As for her music, Miley promises her new album will harken back to her acoustic country roots, but assures her fans it won’t sound like the BS coming out of Ed Sheeran and John Mayer’s guitars.

But before you get all sad her new album might be banger-less, rest assured it’ll probably offer some insight into her relationship with Liam.

“They’re going to talk about me if I come out of a restaurant with Liam,” Miley explained, “so why not put the power back in my relationship and say, ‘This is how I feel’?”

In the rest of the interview she goes on to wax poetic about why straight dudes are the worst, how she was brave to work with Pharrell, and why she still doesn’t think she appropriated black culture at all. Kay.

It’s 100% a good read, so if you haven’t done so already, read all about here.

Welcome back, Miley.
