This Is The Day Of The Year When People Are Most Likely To Cheat
If you had to guess the day of the year when people cheat the most, what would you say?
Personally, I’d probably throw out a date in spring. You know, the flowers are blooming, girls are prancing around in booty shorts, the sun is shining, and you realize you’re really sick of your winter cuff buddy.
But if you, like me, would guess that, you’d be wrong. In fact, the most common day of the entire year when people are most likely to cheat is none other than November 18th, according to Illicit Encounters, a site similar to Ashley Madison.
So why November 18th? Is it because it’s Scorpio season and they’re all horn balls? Is it because people want to get one last hurrah in before cuffing season?
72% of the 300 survey participants said that they’re more likely to cheat on November 18th because it’s right before the family holiday events when they’ll actually have to be with their bae instead of some rando they met online for a quickie.
In addition to the survey respondents, Illicit Encounters said that they receive 30% more traffic on November 18th than any other day of the year, with a spokesperson commenting further:
Unfaithful Friday, and the days that succeed it, represents the last chance an adulterer has to sneak away with their mistress. In the weeks to come, they’ll simply be overwhelmed with nativity plays, Christmas shopping, decorating and of course Christmas and New Year’s. Their kids will have time off from school, and their familial responsibilities will take priority.
How nice that people consider getting their cheating out of the way before their kids are off of school and they have to spend money on a gift for their actual partner!

The popularity of November 18th as a day for sinning is interesting, but that doesn’t mean you need to tie your bae down to the bed next November 18th. If you do feel that way, you should just dump him.
In the mean time, all we can do is hope that somebody hacks Illicit Encounters so we’ll get to find out who all of these horrible people strategically planning their cheating before family holidays are.
