Bella Hadid wants you to know she’s a real New Yorker. At a recent event promoting her latest DKNY campaign, Bella reflected on her love for NYC and all that it has to offer. She spoke of her adoration for Williamsburg sushi restaurants, gallery hopping and even confessed to riding the subway. So relatable!
“When I first moved here, I only rode the subway. But then things got a little crazy. I had an app, but I still always got lost and ended up on the f–king other side of the world. It stressed me out. But I did it!” Bella told W Magazine.
The event concluded a #FindBellaDKNY “scavenger hunt” on Instagram, where fans were encouraged to find and photograph different campaign photos across New York City hotspots such as a record store and graffiti mural. Held at DKNY’s SoHo location, hundreds of fans lined up to get a glimpse of Bella in person.
Although the supermodel was born in Los Angeles, she says she considers herself a true New Yorker being that she frequents in the city so often for work. To top off her relateableness, she confided that she barely leaves her East Village apartment, other than for work. “I work a lot! I mostly just go to work and stay in my house.” She said. We feel you GF.
