Victoria Beckham Was Drunk AF When She Met David For the First Time
Despite what your mother and common wisdom have told you, we’re here to report that finding true love and being drunk are not mutually exclusive after all!
In the upcoming October issue of British Vogue, Victoria Beckham writes a letter to her younger self about how drunk she was when she met her hot husband David for the first time. The Daily Mail secured a copy to share with the masses.
In case you’re not up on the fairy tale romance that is Victoria and David Beckham, here’s a little background info:
In 1996, the Spice Girls released their second single: “Say You’ll Be There.”
In the music video, Victoria, or Posh Spice as she was then known, wore a leather catsuit and looked super hot.

David Beckham instantly started crushing on her, and told The Sun, “That’s the girl for me and I’m going to get her! She’s my idea of perfection.”
After that, Victoria obviously decided she had to go to Manchester to see this enthusiastic hottie IRL and the rest, as they say, is history.
“Yes, love at first sight does exist. It will happen to you in the Manchester United players’ lounge,” Victoria wrote in a letter to her younger self. “Although you will get a little drunk, so exact details are hazy.”
She went on to add:
“While other football players stand at the bar drinking with their mates, you will see David standing aside with his family. (He’s not even in the first time at this stage — you’re the famous one.) And he has such a cute smile. You, too, are close to your family, and you will think how similar he feels to you. He’s going to ask for your number. (He still has the London-to-Manchester plane ticket on which you wrote it.)”

Love is real, and even when you’re drunk AF meeting some random athlete who looks hot in his pictures but might turn out to be a psycho IRL, it just may sneak up and bite you on the ass.
