F*ck Yes: A Paris Hilton Documentary Is In The Works

Good news Paris Hilton fans, your girl is getting her very own documentary.

The news of Paris’ as-yet-unnamed documentary was announced today at the Cannes Film Festival, which sounds like the last place you’d go to see a documentary about Paris Hilton, but hey, what do we know?

So far the film’s directors, Don Argott and Sheena Joyce, are being pretty mum as to what we can all expect, but we like what they’ve told The Hollywood Reporter about the project so far.

“Paris Hilton is a modern day Marilyn Monroe — beautiful, iconized, world famous, shaped by mass media and misunderstood. We are thrilled to work with Paris to explore her complicated relationship with the public, the press, and the politics that shape our perception of a modern celebrity.”

Sounds super deep, right?

The directors have also promised that their “unflinching” doc will explore how Paris has successfully reinvented herself as a world-class DJ/businesswoman, and let’s be real, if we know Paris she’ll manage to throw some shade Kim Kardashian’s way.

Best frenemies forever

In the meantime, you can get your Paris Hilton fix by watching Paris’s other documentary, 2008’s Paris, Not France which chronicles the phase in her life directly after E! cancelled The Simple Life and Paris was forced to focus on making her career as a pop star take off.

Or just binge watch The Simple Life.

It’s a win win situation either way.
