Paris Cops Think Kim K’s Robbery Was An Inside Job
While we still have no idea who was responsible for robbing Kim at gunpoint on Sunday, sources involved in the case have told TMZ that the cops are pretty sure Kim K’s robbery was an inside job — and the Kardashian family thinks so too.
Their source says that it’s just too big of a coincidence that the robbers showed up when Kim was bodyguard-less. Besides when he left to protect Kourtney and Kendall at a nearby nightclub, Kim’s bodyguard was always by her side.
Not that it would have been that hard for five armed men to sneak into Kim’s hotel anyway.
“Security is close to zero,” a source informed People. “Basically you bring your personnel with you, hence her poor security last night. It’s basically a flat with one front desk concierge.”
Kim K’s personal bodyguard is not currently under suspicion. A source told Page Six that it was probably a member of Kim’s temporary security detail that did the snitching.
“French police suspect that the five alleged robbers had some contact with her security and were tipped off about her procedures,” says the source. “They knew there was no security. All they had to do was go in, make contact with someone inside the hotel.”
Police are currently checking phone records of a long list of people who knew all about what Kim was up to during Fashion Week to try and sniff out the rat.
Fingers crossed they actually find the bastard before the trail turns ice cold.
