And while the ages of the robbers varies, at least one of them is 73 years old, according to CNN.

Talk about a seasoned criminal.

And most of his alleged accomplices weren’t much younger. Many of the others arrested are in their 40s, 50s, and 60s, a police spokesman told The New York Times.

An investigation is reportedly also underway in Belgium, where the police believe Kim’s stolen jewelry was taken — well, besides this one cross necklace some rando found on the streets right away.

Although to most of us it seemed the cops were taking a super long time to crack this case, a spokesman for the French police union claims they actually did a super quick job of solving it.

“You have the robbers, and then the one who is going to sell off the goods, the one who puts people in touch, the stone cutter, etc.,” the spokesman said. “It didn’t take a lot of time. It took three months and three months in this kind of investigation is quite short.”

While so far the police haven’t released any photos of the suspects, The Daily Mail has a few photos from the arrests.

The police reportedly can hold these 17 suspects for up to 96 hours of questioning, which means we could be less than than three short days from finally solving the mystery of Kim’s robbery at gunpoint — just in time for the new season of Keeping up With the Kardashians.
