Nicki Minaj’s Latest Interview Makes Her Seem Like Kind Of a F*ckboy

Just when you thought Nicki Minaj was ready to ride into the sunset with Meek Mill, she goes and gives an interview that makes you wonder if she’s just a f*ckboy in disguise.

We’ll explain.

On today’s episode of Ellen, host Ellen Degeneres asked Nicki some questions about what was going on between her and her boyfriend Meek Mill, which is understandable seeing as he keeps giving her diamond rings and she keeps saying things to the press about how sometimes she forgets they’re not actually engaged yet.

But Nicki wasn’t wearing either of those diamond rings during the taping, nor would she refer to Meek Mill by name, choosing to call him “this boy that likes me” or “he” for the duration of the interview instead.

Sweet, right? If you focus hard enough, you can hear Drake laughing his ass off all the way from Toronto.

Obviously, Ellen had some questions, but as soon as she started asking Nicki about those “engagement rings,” Nicki stopped her. “That’s not my engagement ring though. He said that that’s my second ring and that if I get a third ring that would be my engagement ring.”

Ellen then asked Nicki if she was ready to take that next step with “this boy” if he asked and like a total f*ckboy, Nicki was unable to give a straight answer.

“You know, I don’t know. We’re still figuring each other out. And in fact, I don’t even want to say that I’m in a relationship anymore.”

Ummmm, say what, Nicki?

“I used to say, ‘I’m not in a relationship,’ even though I was in a 12-year relationship [with Safaree Samuels]. Now I feel like just going back to that and saying, ‘You know what? I’m single. There’s a boy that likes me. That’s all.”

Ellen stood in for marriage-hungry moms everywhere by reminding Nicki that the “boy” in question “spent a lot of money on you hoping you would say you were in a relationship. I mean, he’s not happy about you saying you’re single.”

Still, Nicki Minaj remained steadfast in her commitment to giving no commitment, saying, “He and I are just two souls right now passing through the universe, and I don’t know what’s going to happen. I just have learned over the years to just let things be and come and go as they are going to come and go.”

See? Can’t you imagine all of that coming out of the mouth of your local fuckboy? Or Justin Bieber?

Props to Nicki for not letting Meek lock her down. Drake and the rest of us are all proud.
