Who Can Lose More Weight Before Their Wedding: Rob Kardashian or Mariah Carey?
ICYMI, both Mariah Carey and Rob Kardashian are engaged to the loves of their lives right now.
Mariah is marrying James Packer, a billionaire who sadly hasn’t agreed to be on her upcoming reality show, and Rob is marrying Blac Chyna, a personality with the best mom in the area who can’t wait to take the Kardashian family name.
And both Mariah and Rob have one more thing in common: they both want to lose weight and are using love as an excuse to actually do it.
The Daily Mail reports that Mariah is trying to lose 20 pounds before her wedding day because:
“She wants to have an hour-glass figure so she can have a very tight, sexy, figure-hugging gown. Mariah says she has to be very disciplined because she wants to take James’ breath away when he sees her for the first time in her wedding gown.”
Which is kind of sweet and kind of selfish, just like Mariah herself.
The website’s source also added:
“Mariah says this will be her last marriage, that the third time is a charm, so she is determined to be the most beautiful bride the world has ever seen.”
How romantic, right?
And Rob? Well, Rob’s trying to lose 50 pounds just in time for his birthday in five weeks, which is kind of great and also kind of like he’s giving himself an eating disorder as a present.
Although, let’s be honest, the real person who wants him to lose weight is Blac Chyna. Do you see how hard she’s pushing him?
Make no mistake: this 50 pound drop is just one in a series of weight loss goals Blac Chyna will impose on Rob before they tie the knot. After all, if she’s going to have to look at their wedding photos for the rest of her lifetime, the man standing next to her has to be keeping it 100.
Slash it’ll probably be good for his health and self-esteem, but whatever.
It’s anybody’s guess who will come out on top in this love battle, but we can’t wait to see what happens. Isn’t love just the best?
