Winter’s Boldest Trends with Marcela Preziosi
Marcela Preziosi is a professional designer, with a total commitment to the art of fashion. Born in Neiva, Colombia, and married to Chris Preziosi Marcela has practiced her craft from an early age, and is therefore able to successfully combine her experience and vision . She was learning to sew during her convent school upbringing, where an opportunity existed to provide costumes for local and national pageants, in addition to alteration services. Influenced by the stunning pageant culture of Latin America, and exhibiting extraordinary skills with the needle, even at the age of 12, Marcela was selected in the boarding school as part of a team of teenage sewers to learn the elaborate delicate trade of evening gown wear. The most creative designs were used by the beauty pageants and Marcela became one of the team leaders due to her skills in fine needle, drawing, and pattern design.
