Lindsay Lohan Has Started Writing a Mean Girls Sequel
Lindsay Lohan is desperate to make Mean Girls 2 a reality, so she’s taking matters into her own hands and writing it herself.
In a Facebook live interview with CNN Abu Dhabi, Lindsay revealed she’s gone so far as to write a treatment for Mean Girls 2, which is a fancy way of saying she sat down one night and summarized some major plot points she’d like to see go down.
Lindsay said:
“I am trying so hard to do a Mean Girls 2. It is not in my hands. I know that Tina Fey, and Lorne Michaels and all of them are very busy but I will keep forcing it, and pushing it on them until they do it. I would love to have Jamie Lee Curtis and Jimmy Fallon in the movie. I’ve already written a treatment for it, and just need a response.”
It’s unclear whether Lindsay would want to go on to write the script with Tina Fey, or even carry on the mission by herself, but one thing is clear: Lindsay’s forgotten Mean Girls 2 already exists. It came out in 2011 and currently has 4.2 out of 10 stars on IMDB.
“The plastics are back in the long awaited followup to the smash-hit Mean Girls,” the movie’s synopsis reads, “and now the clique is more fashionable, funny and ferocious than ever!”

Lindsay clearly has her work cut out for her trying to make everybody this movie ever happened, huh?
