Lena Dunham is an outspoken Hillary Clinton supporter and a constant scapegoat for conservatives’ hatred of millennials.
But surprisingly, she says that Bernie Sanders fans are more rude to her than conservatives have been throughout this campaign season.
“I have received more hostility for voting for a qualified female candidate than I have ever received anywhere from the American right wing,” she said at a Hillary rally, as reported by Variety. “The fact that other members of the Democratic Party have spoken to me like I was an ill informed child for voting for someone who represents everything I think this country should be is outrageous.”
She was especially irked when one Bernie bro informed her, “Bernie Sanders has done more for feminism than Hillary Clinton has.”
So no matter where you stand politically, or where you stand on the issue of whether or not Lena Dunham is annoying, we can all continue to agree on one thing: Bernie bros are the worst.
