Kylie Gives a Snapchat History Lesson on Meeting Tyga at Age 14

Kylie Jenner has been publicly dating Tyga for over six months now, but the question of how the two met and became friends in the first place has always been a mystery, or so we thought.

Turns out, we just weren’t remembering our Keeping Up With The Kardashians history because it turns out the two met at Kendall Jenner’s Sweet 16 party when Kylie was 14 years old.

Yesterday in a series of throwback videos posted on Snapchat, Kylie gave us a history lesson that’s way more interesting than anything we ever learned in high school.

Even though Kylie was only 14 when it was time to plan Kendall’s 16th bday, Kylie was still given a lot of responsibility. While some of her tasks, like picking out Kendall’s favorite candy, were boring, some were kind of a big deal, like choosing which musical guest was going to make a surprise performance.

I was able to book a musical guest for Kendall,” baby Kylie informed us. “He is one of my favorite rappers, and I’m really nervous. I hope she likes it.”

Yeah, you guessed it. The musical guest was Tyga.

And Kendall loved it.

Especially when he got the crowd to wish her a happy birthday.

But before you get any big ideas, no this was not the moment when Kylie first started crushing on Tyga, at least not according to Kylie.

Although let’s be honest, if he was really one of her favorite rappers when she was 14, baby girl probably at least thought he was cute. Think back to your own history and try to prove me wrong.

What a difference four years makes, right?
