You Can Now Play Edward 40 Hands With Rosé
If you’re reading this, you’ve probably guzzled a forty before.
Maybe you were underage and that was the only thing your older brother would buy you, maybe you forgot to hit the liquor store and had to buy one from the bodega at the last minute, or maybe you just really like playing Edward 40 hands.
Either way, you’ve probably graduated from forties and have moved on to “classier” beverages like Moscow Mules or Pinot Grigio.
Well, there is officially a 40 that’s filled with rosé — or muscadet, if that’s your thing.
I don’t think there is a classier way to get lit at a day party this summer.
Also, while it might not be as dirt cheap as a regular 40, it’s actually more budget friendly than you think. The forties have been spotted retailing for $16 in NYC, and it holds more twice the wine of an average bottle.
Unfortunately, they’re only currently being sold in New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, California, and Colorado, and the company only producted 1,200 cases of the stuff. Translation: if you happen to stumble upon them on your weekend liquor run, you should stock up for the summer.
