We’ll Believe This Britney-JT Vegas Reunion When We See It

No need to go on with the farce that is life, people, if the rumors that Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears are going to reunite — professionally, that is — are true. We’ll believe it when we see it.

It’s been over 15 years since Britney cheated on Justin the power pop couple broke up, but a few media outlets have reported that Britney has reached out to Justin in hopes of reuniting for a duet at her “Piece of Me” Las Vegas residency.

“Britney called Justin out of the blue and said she wanted him to come to Vegas and do a series of concerts with her,” a source revealed in InTouch’s May 2 issue. “At first he laughed it off, but he was definitely intrigued.”

But then, GossipCop reportedly got in touch with a source close to Britney (who are all these sources? Her publicist, maybe?) and maintained that Britney never reached out to her ex at all, and that the rumors of a reunion are completely “erroneous.”

Sadness.

But who knows? Justin Timberlake’s not up to much these days, aside from mourning Prince’s death, and Britney is reportedly in a good place these days, allegedly in part to the life coach she’s hired. It’s 2016, and revivals are in, so make like NSYNC and wish upon a star. All in the name of a Britney-Justin reunion.
