Selena Gomez Says She’s Dedicated To Playing The F*ckgirl Field
Last night Selena Gomez appeared on James Corden’s immensely popular “Carpool Karaoke” segment and got into what she was and wasn’t looking for in terms of commitment.
After Corden jokingly suggested that Taylor’s squad’s “a bit sexist because it’s all about being equals and yet no man has been asked to join the squad. I actually find it degrading to men,” Selena assured him, “find me a boyfriend and then we’ll talk.”
It’s worth noting here that Sir Patrick Stewart and Sir Ian McKellen have already been offered honorary squad membership by Taylor herself this summer, and that Corden failed to do his research properly on this point, but seeing as his misstep made the following conversation between himself and Selena possible, just this once, we’ll give him a pass.
“Are you on the lookout for a boyfriend?” Corden asked Selena.
“Sure, why not?” Selena casually replied, before immediately going back on her statement saying, “Well, I don’t know. I like to have fun.”
“Oh,” said Corden coyly, “so you’re saying you wanna get a guy in every port?”
“Well, not every —”
“Just once or twice a week then?”
“I don’t know,” Selena gushed, which might as well have been a “Duh, James, have you seen how hot I am?”
It goes without saying that we applaud Selena for wanting to have a little fun before committing to the next big love of her life.
