Ruby Rose Just Dragged Katy Perry to Filth on Twitter

Galore cover girl Ruby Rose just came for Katy Perry over what Ruby called her “cheap” and “mean-spirited” new song “Swish Swish.”

Buckle up cuz this is RIVETING reading material and laugh-out-loud level good.

Out of nowhere last night, Ruby Rose went in on Katy Perry with a diss that’s so dense, it’s hard to understand right away.

“‘Purposeful poop’ to ‘bomb a petit’ to a sloppy mess of writing over the top of Funkagenda…stop trying to make ‘Wit..I mean ‘fetch’ happen,” Ruby wrote.

Word salad, right?

But there’s a lot of good stuff happening.

She deliberately botched the names every one of Katy Perry’s new singles, calling “Bon Appetit” “Bomb a petit,” and straight up calling “Chained to the Rhythm” woke garbage.

Or “Purposeful poop” as she so wittily phrased it.

Then, after calling “Swish Swish” sloppy, Ruby called Katy out for trying so so so hard to make her new album “Witness” happen.

Only she stopped herself before saying the full name because that’s how much she couldn’t even with it.

Seriously, frame this tweet.

It deserves to go down in history with “I Don’t Know Her.”

And Ruby Rose didn’t stop there. She kept on tweeting.

Continuing on her anti-Katy rant Ruby said, “I just think with everything going on in the world to go from rebranding as political activist only to ditch it and go low..is..a bummer.”

Then Ruby decided to take a quick break to discuss fidget spinners and how mesmerizing they are.

But then she dug right back into Katy, attempting to explain why the fuck she cares so much about all this.

“I’ve always stood up for the people I love and against things I think are cheap or mean-spirited. That’s not new. You have to follow your [heart emoji.]” Ruby remarked.

And she even promoted the squad. After she tweeted that “mean-spirited” bs, she responded to a tweet about how “Bad Liar” is the only good song out right now.

“So good!” Ruby responded, before adding, “And Haim!”

In case you’re not aware, Taylor Swift and Haim are besties. In fact, Taylor Swift invented the word squad while she was hanging out with Haim.

And then as an after thought Ruby added, “And Lorde,” who is another member of Taylor Swift’s inner circle.

Then Ruby did something I don’t really understand.

Responding to a now-deleted tweeted which had to have been about “Bad Blood,” Ruby wrote:

“Wasn’t around sweetheart but my bully experiences came from one of the people involved in that song and it’s obviously not T.”

Obviously it’s a tweet about how Katy Perry is a bully, but the circumstances of how Ruby Rose knew this to be true are confusing.

Did she mean that even though she wasn’t friends with Taylor when T Swift wrote “Bad Blood,” she knew Katy was a bully because Katy had also been mean to her?

Unclear.

And then, deciding that enough was enough, Ruby signed off by saying, “You are her fans you should buy all her songs so the songs will finally chart. If as many as tweeted me bought her last 3 .. they’d be hits.”

Savage.

Although you’ll notice she didn’t come for Nicki Minaj, who’s also featured on “Swish Swish.”

In fact, she made a point of making it clear she loved Nicki’s verse.

“Not gonna lie Nicki is great on it and basically the only part that doesn’t sound like a complete mess.”

Smart, girl.

It took Katy Perry two years to write a clap back track to “Bad Blood,” but Nicki doesn’t play around. If you come for her, she’ll come for you fast.

Anyway, this has been exhausting, but this is how you come for people online.

Take notes, shade-throwers of the world.
