FEATURE INTERVIEW:
Your songwriting consistently captures the essence of each season. Can you share the inspiration and message behind your latest hit, “I’m the Drama”?
“I’m the Drama” is all about owning your bold and attention-grabbing presence. It’s about the power of being unapologetically yourself, turning heads, and breaking the silence with your confidence and charisma. The lyrics convey a strong sense of self- assurance and pride in being the center of attention, regardless of any controversy or criticism. It celebrates the idea of standing out and embracing your unique qualities without fear.
Your musical journey has been remarkable, evolving from the “I’m a Mess” era to the bold sounds of today. How would you describe this current era of your music?
My current era of music and style is still unapologetic and fiercely bold, but now it’s infused with dance beats. While my “I’m A Mess” era focused on raw honesty and emotional vulnerability, my new music is all about confidence and strength on the dance floor. It’s a celebration of being powerful and fearless, ready to take over with a rhythm that makes you move and feel unstoppable.
Fashion is always evolving. Looking back, is there any trend you once loved but now find cringeworthy?
A fashion trend I used to participate in that makes me cringe now is definitely those owl necklaces. I can’t believe I bought those—they are so ugly! Looking back, it’s hard to imagine what I was thinking. I guess. We all have those fashion moments we’d rather forget!
Fragrance can be a signature part of one’s identity. What is your signature scent and what does it represent to you?
My signature fragrance is “Cannabis” by My Geisha.
Family plays a crucial role in many people’s lives. How important is family to you, and do you see yourself becoming a mother one day?
Family is extremely important to me. I am always so happy and at peace when I’m around them. There’s something so comforting about being with the people who know and love you best. I’d love to be a mom one day, but I believe it will happen when it’s meant to be.
Beauty standards are ever-changing. What is your personal beauty philosophy, and how do you distinguish yourself in the industry?
To me, imperfections are what make people truly beautiful and unique. Everyone carries a story and faces struggles that often go unseen, and it’s these experiences that shape who we are. This belief shapes my approach to beauty, as I continually strive to embrace and celebrate individuality without judgment. True beauty is about embracing what makes us different and celebrating our individuality and imperfections. It’s those little quirks and flaws that make each of us stand out and shine in our own special way.
Body positivity is a movement you strongly advocate for. Why do you think there is such a pervasive obsession with weight in our culture?
I believe the obsession with weight stems from deep-rooted insecurities in people. Society has placed so much emphasis on looking a certain way that it’s become ingrained in our minds. The media and social platforms constantly push unrealistic beauty standards, making it hard for people to feel good about themselves.
But true beauty comes from embracing who you are, imperfections and all. That’s why I’m such a strong advocate for body positivity—because everyone deserves to feel confident and beautiful just as they are. It’s important to challenge those standards and promote self-love, reminding ourselves and others that we are more than just our appearance.
Life on tour can be hectic. How do you prioritize your mental health while constantly on the road?
Spa days. Long walks. Studio sessions in random countries. Meditation music.
Sharing a part of your heritage with us, can you teach us a meaningful word in Albanian and its significance to you?
“Te DUA” which means I love you. Or my real name Bleta means Bee.
What was the last thing you ordered in Uber Eats?
Joe and the juice protein smoothie and a tuna sandwich!
What is one thing you can’t live without?
My dog bear!
Breaking into the music industry can be tough. What advice would you give to someone aspiring to follow in your footsteps?
RUN!!!! Just kidding. Seriously though, try to have a family member around to watch your back when it comes to finances and making important decisions. Having someone you really trust, who has your best interest in mind, can make a huge difference. They can offer valuable advice, help you avoid mistakes, and provide a sense of security.
