[Premiere] Lila Gold Releases Salacious NYC Anthem ‘China Chalet’

Born and raised New Yorker Lila Gold has just released a chilled out summer party anthem titled “China Chalet.” All in the name of salaciousness.

“It’s some kind of anti-love song rendition,” she says. “It’s about being young, salacious and restless, guilty parties, guilty pleasures, and the infatuation and romance I have with hedonism and youth… every little trick, kiss and kick from clubland thrills.”

And for anybody who has grown up in New York, or just visited the downtown establishment that is China Chalet, they’ll identify with the appreciation in guilty pleasures, since the restaurant-turned-nightclub still allows people to smoke cigarettes inside. Either way, the song sounds good. Listen below.
