[PREMIERE] Bonnie Bishop Celebrates A Different Sound With New Song, ‘Mercy’
Bonnie Bishop is known for contributing her song, “The Best Songs Come From Broken Hearts,” as anthem for the CW’s show “Nashville,” but her new song is taking her career in a whole new direction.
“Mercy” is a song that nods to Bonnie’s country heritage, but the singer-songwriter has used the experiences she’s gone through — including a major panic attack before taking the stage recently — to fuel a new kind of sound. It’s something she, and the NY Times has deemed “soulful…full of wrenching renewal.”
