MPT Agency Appoints Nuné Khurshudyan as New Head of Artist Development

MPT Agency, one of the North-American leaders in music promotion and music marketing, is thrilled to announce the appointment of Nuné Khurshudyan as the new Head of Artist Development. With her extensive experience in both the local and international music scene, Nuné Khurshudyan is poised to take the agency to new heights, bringing a wealth of expertise to the role.

“Success doesn’t happen overnight. Believing truly in what you are doing, having genuine passion and consistency may turn your journey into success,” said Khurshudyan, reflecting on the philosophy that has guided her career.

Music has always been more than a passion for Nuné Khurshudyan. Her career in the industry began in 2010, as an Artistic Affairs and Touring Manager with the Armenian Symphonic Orchestra,  where she oversaw the orchestra’s performances and international touring activities. This early experience in a prestigious classical setting laid the foundation for her deep understanding of the complexities of the music business.

Transitioning from classical music to pop, and focusing on the artist is where she found her true calling. Over the years, Nuné Khurshudyan has honed her skills in multiple facets of the industry, from management to production, all while staying rooted in her core passion—music.

After a brief hiatus to embrace motherhood, Nuné returned to the entertainment industry with a fresh perspective. She joined Public TV Armenia as Senior Manager of International Affairs, where she built strategic relationships and developed a keen understanding of the global music landscape.

Her career took another significant leap when she began working as the manager of Armenian pop icon Sirusho. For nearly a decade, Nuné managed all aspects of Sirusho’s career, from music releases and video productions to international tours spanning countries like Canada, the USA, Europe, the UAE, and Australia. Combined, the two have made a lasting impact on the international music scene.

Khurshudyan also explored the creative sector, serving as an Executive Producer for Whooden Studios in New York, a creative studio known for its work with brands, institutions, and community-driven cultural projects. Her time in the creative sector further expanded her versatility and understanding of how arts and culture intersect with global business.

Her next chapter took her to Polyarts/Harrison Parrot Associated Company, a boutique international artist management firm, where she remotely collaborated on projects with legendary artists such as Stewart Copeland, Eimear Noone, and Avishai Cohen.

Now, as the Head of Artist Development at MusicPromoToday, Nuné Khurshudyan is excited to work with the agency’s passionate team to elevate the careers of artists and redefine the music marketing landscape. She shares, “This new opportunity is both exciting and challenging, and I am thrilled to be part of a team that embodies continuous learning and growth.”

For Nuné, success is built on a foundation of teamwork, passion, and a relentless drive for growth. She emphasizes the importance of collaboration, noting that MPT’s carefully selected team and its strategic approach are what set the agency apart in an ever-evolving industry.

Her story is one of perseverance, passion, and commitment to creating pathways for artists to succeed in a global market. As MPT Agency embarks on this new chapter under Nuné’s leadership, with her diverse background and unique vision, the future of artist development looks brighter than ever.
