Mariah Carey Threw a Lingerie Pizza Party in Italy…?
Life has been good for Mariah Carey recently.
She got engaged to the billionaire of her dreams and it’s only a matter of time before her (hopefully) MTV Cribs-style reality show will become the most watched guilty pleasure TV show since The Simple Life.
And in true Mariah form, her personal brand is just as kooky as ever. Case in point: she just posted three of the most WTF Instagram pics in celeb history, featuring her and her family cooking pizza in lingerie apropos of nothing.
Here’s what we know and what we don’t know:
Clue #1
Simple enough, right? Mariah Carey is making pizza in Italy. She’s wearing lingerie because of course she is, and she’s pairing it with pom pom stilettos because it completes the fantasy.
But wait — why is she making pizza? Isn’t she on a crazy diet right now? Is this her cheat day? Did she dress up in lingerie just to celebrate how much she’s feeling herself?
And where is she? Is she in a hotel? Do all hotels in Italy have pizza ovens in them, or just the kinds Mariah Carey stays in? And where is her fiancé? Probably taking the picture, right? Like maybe this is a sexy date night for them?
Hmmm, looks like we need more evidence to tell.

Okay, so that’s one of Mariah’s children, which pretty much kills the sexy date theory.
Maybe Mariah was just baking the pizza in her lingerie so she didn’t get pizza sauce on her expensive designer PJ set.
That’s probably it, right?
Luckily we have one more clue to crack the mystery.
Clue #3
Okay, looks like we were wrong again.
This picture clearly shows that Mariah is just having a casual pizza making night with her children, none of whom seem to share their mother’s love of matching satin lingerie sets.
Will her children ever share their mother’s love of satin lingerie or will they prefer comfy pants and oversized t-shirts forever? Will Mariah feel like she’s failed as a mother if she can’t get her daughters to change their minds about their fashion choices?
Seriously, if anybody can help us figure out the answers to any of these questions we’d be grateful from now until infinity.
