Margot Robbie Is So Chill She Got Secretly Married This Weekend
We’ve always known that Margot Robbie is one of the chillest people alive, but recently, she took things to a whole new level.
This weekend, Margot Robbie got married to the boyfriend you didn’t even know existed.
See, for the past three years now, Margot’s been dating a director named Tom Ackerley, but she’s been so chill about the whole thing that you probably didn’t notice.
They don’t walk red carpets together, they don’t get caught kissing on rocks in Rhode Island and they’re not all over each other on Insta — well, at least not for the most part.
Two weeks ago she did post this picture of Tom and her kissing on Instagram, but even then, most of them commented with some variation of the phrase, “who?”
Honestly, it makes perfect sense Margot decided to get secretly married — and not just one of those “secret marriages” that nobody is supposed to know about but does anyway — but a real secret wedding.
Australian newspaper The Sun broke the story that Margot and the man she described as “the best-looking guy in London,” got secretly married on Sunday in the beautiful beachside town of Byron Bay, Australia.
And it would have stayed a secret if both the bride and the groom’s brothers didn’t post pictures of the wedding on social media before realizing that was a totally unchill move on their parts and deleting the evidence.
Really, the only un-chill aspect was that Margot wore a shirt that said, “Say ‘I Do’ Down Under,” when she arrived in Australia last week, but whatever — compared to how psychotic most brides get when their big day approaches, this is downright adorable.
Margot’s yet to confirm any of this, but honestly it seems exactly like something she would do.
