The Kardashians Are Being Sued for Not Tweeting Enough

The first rule of launching a makeup line is to always tweet about that makeup line.

The Kardashians are learning that the hard way — Kim, Khloé, and Kourtney are being sued for $200 million because they didn’t tweet enough about their Kardashian Beauty makeup line, according to TMZ.

An investment company called Hillair Capital Management is saying it paid $10 million to “save” the girls’ “struggling cosmetics line” previously known for some reason as Khroma, TMZ reports. Hillair naturally expected them to tweet about Kardashian Beauty in order to promote it. They allegedly didn’t, and Hillair now wants $200 million out of the sisters because they feel that if they’d held up their end of the bargain, the line would’ve been a success.

It’s a pretty ridiculous claim — Kardashian Beauty was probably ill fated from the start. I mean, it’s not like we’re dealing with Kylie Lip Kits here.

This is not the first time the Kardashians have gotten into legal trouble for a promo gone awry. Kim in particular has been sued in connection to her endorsements of Tria at-home laser hair removal, Skechers Shape-Ups, and predictably, a Kardashian kredit kard.

It has to be the first time the Kardashians have been told they should tweet more, though.
