Joe Jonas Hints His Next Single Will Be a Petty Tune About Gigi Hadid
Believe it or not, Joe Jonas knows that you don’t care about him or his band DNCE.
Still, he’s trying to have a career so as not to get totally eclipsed by his younger, more handsome brother Nick, so Joe’s personal mission in life right now is to remind you that he still has an ace up his sleeve: he dated Gigi Hadid, probably got dumped by her, and has probably written a song about the experience/her in general.
Sounds like something you actually want to hear about, right?
His evil/petty plan is working.
Back in February, Joe tweeted something that got people’s attention.

Although the tweet could be about anything, chances are it’s about Gigi Hadid, his ex-girlfriend of only a few months whom he’d had a crush on for 7 years.
Joe and Gigi broke things off in early November of 2015, and within a couple weeks, Gigi and Zayn were already being photographed together in cars, leading everybody to start asking the question, are Gigi and Zayn dating or what?
Obviously, we know how that one turned out.
Yesterday ET followed up about that tweet, and even though Joe didn’t explicitly say it was about Gigi, he didn’t deny it either.
“As of right now, you’ll definitely know who it’s about [when you hear it],” he said. “But sometimes you have to sugarcoat it so it’s not so obvious.”
A.k.a. maybe it is and maybe it isn’t, but please let’s keep this speculation alive until DNCE’s album comes out so that it can sell more copies than Zayn’s did.
Which is a laugh because it won’t, but hey, you can’t blame a guy for trying. Only we are, because it’s really petty of him.
But then again, what else do you expect from a guy who broke up with Taylor Swift in 2008 over a 27-second-long phone call?
