Ivanka Trump’s Company Owes $5K+ in Unpaid Taxes
Just when you thought Ivanka was going to have a moment to post her poorly lit Instagram photos in peace, that pesky free press her father hates so much dug up some dirt on Donald’s favorite daughter.
Her jewelry company allegedly owes the state of New York over $5,000 in back taxes.

In January, the New York Department of State reportedly issued a warrant against Ivanka Trump Fine Jewelry, the proud makers of this tastefully not tasteful bangle, which can be yours for the low, low price of $10,000.

According to their warrant, Ivanka’s company owes $5,213.91 in unpaid sales taxes, which is a lot of money for regular folks, but probably seems like chump change to the Trump family.
Like you know how sometimes you forget to pay your energy bill for a month or two and then ConEd sends you a letter saying you owe them $200-something bucks and it’s kind of a big deal but also whatever?I imagine that’s how a $5,000 fine feels like to the Trumps.
Anyway, this is just the latest news in the latest chapter of Ivanka Trump’s business interests, which future biographers might title “RIP Ivanka the Business Woman.”
Sure, her perfume might still be a bestseller on Amazon, but department stores are falling over themselves to stop selling her fashion line and according to Hollywood Reporter, jewelers connected to Ivanka Trump Fine Jewelry say once the company’s current inventory is sold off, the company’s gonna hibernate for a long, and possibly nuclear winter.
Which is not so great news for her legacy as a lifestyle brand peddler, but great news for her Instagram feed.
Just kidding.
No matter how much free time Ivanka has on her hands, she’ll never get good at Instagram.
It’s nice to know that no matter how much her father changes the country, and maybe the world, some things will stay just the same.
