Although she is still discovering the direction she wants to take her career, she is not waiting until she has all the answers to share that process. Along the way, she has released songs that explore uncertainty, personal change, difficult relationships, and the gradual work of understanding herself.

Blue blends alternative rock and pop-rock with the fearless attitude of the riot grrrl movement. Her music reflects influences from Blondie, David Bowie, Paramore, Garbage, and No Doubt. However, her greatest strength lies in the way she is beginning to integrate those references into a voice of her own that is still taking shape.

Belle Blue is prepared to bring her repertoire to Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Nueva York. The run of shows will culminate with her Newport Folk Festival debut on July 24, a performance that carries special meaning for Blue because the festival has always prioritized strong songwriting, storytelling, and artists with something meaningful to communicate. Reaching that stage so early in her career, at just 16 years old, is a promising indication of what she may go on to achieve through her music.
