The War Between Kylie Jenner and Kylie Minogue Might Finally Be Over
Kylie Jenner isn’t, and has never been, the only Kylie on the block.
Jenner has been attempting to trademark the name “Kylie” since 2015. Perhaps she isn’t old enough to have bumped to hits like “Can’t Get You Out Of My Head” and “Love At First Sight,” but Kylie Minogue has been repping the name Kylie since before Jenner was even born. Minogue’s website is even titled kylie.com.
Minogue’s legal team filed in opposition of Jenner’s move in early 2016. In a comment that is far shadier than I expected, Minogue’s official notice of opposition called Jenner a “secondary reality television personality who appeared on the television series ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ as a supporting character.”
She also subbed Jenner on Twitter:
Hello….. My name is KYLIE #lightyears
— kylie minogue (@kylieminogue) February 28, 2016

Minogue recently withdrew her opposition, which might mean both sides have reached a settlement. Other reports claim Jenner officially lost the trademark battle.
Either way, both Kylies are probably gonna be fine and the world will keep turning.
