Tiago PZK is the Future
Tiago Uriel Pacheco Lezcano, a.k.a Tiago PZK, is an Argentinian artist whose career has grown by leaps and bounds. Recognized for his versatility when it comes to composing and creating music, his songs range from trap to R&B making it difficult to label him in one genre. There is no doubt that Tiago PZK is one of the top faces of the new crop of artists from South America exporting their music to the world, and this happened in merely one year. Several months after the release of his single “Sola” made its first huge impact on the public, Tiago PZK’s career took off and he has become a breakout star. At just 20 years old, Tiago PZK has become the best new artist of recent times and continues to grow both in Argentina. His YouTube channel currently has more than 1.5 billion views in only two years.
In April 2022 Tiago PZK performed “Entre Nosotros Remix” live for the first time at the Latin American Music Awards 2022 together with Maria Becerra and Lit Killah. He received excellent reviews for his performance, and this became the most watched performance of the awards. In June 2022, Tiago won the award for Video of the year – New Artist at Premios Tu Musica Urbano. Recently Tiago released his new album “PORTALES” on July 21st, the record debuted at #2 on Spotify global charts.
Tiago will be going on tour for his new album “PORTALES”. The tour will include more than 35 dates in its first phase (2022) and will visit Mar del Plata, Rosario, Santa Fe, Córdoba, Tucuman, Mendoza, Neuquén, Trelew and several more provinces in Argentina, which will not be the only country that can live this mega show. The tour also will travel to Uruguay, Paraguay, Peru, Colombia, Costa Rica and Chile, several cities in Spain such as Bilbao, Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Seville and more – Miami, New York City and Los Angeles in the United States. At the end of this leg of the tour, it will be the turn of Tijuana, Mérida, Monterrey, CDMX and more, in Mexico. More dates for 2023 will be announced shortly.

Your latest single, “Traductor”, is dominating the charts! What was it like creating this song with Myke Towers?
“Traductor” is a song that we had done a some time ago in the studio with Big One & FMK. At the time there was no possibility to collaborate with an artist of such a high caliber as Myke. After a few months, as my career was gaining more visibility and, parallel to that, Warner Latin, which works with Myke also, was pushing to get this collaboration to happen. When it finally came together I was surprised!! I didn’t expect it. And nailed his part!
If “Traductor” could be an ice cream flavor, what flavor would it be?
Without a doubt, AMERICAN CREAM
Is “Traductor” part of a larger project, should we be expecting a new album?
Exactly. “Traductor” is part of my new album “PORTALES” that’s being released on July 21st…..And the focus track from the album, “SEX & LOVE”, which was produced and written by Rvssian is crazy good! I can’t wait for people to hear that track also. The whole album is going to be a musical trip, that’s why it’s called ‘Portales” (Portals) . I can’t wait till it’s out and my fans check it out.
You have collaborated with many artists such as Maria Becerra, Lit Killah, Ozuna, Nicki Nicole and others. Who would you love to work with in the future?
Without a doubt, my dream collaboration would be with Daddy Yankee. He’s the premier and maximum exponent for Reggaeton.
You won the award for Video of the year – New Artist at Premios Tu Musica Urbano. Is this something that you expected?
No, I did not expect to win. It was something that took me completely by surprise and I am very happy about it.
How did it feel to perform “Entre Nosotros Remix” live for the first time at the Latin American Music Awards 2022?
It was an incredible experience to represent my country beside my brothers Lit Killah & Maria Becerra. We left the stage crying. We could not believe it!
You are about to have a HUGE tour to countries such as Uruguay, Paraguay, Peru, Colombia, Costa Rica and Chile, several cities in Spain such as Bilbao, Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Seville and more – Miami, New York City and Los Angeles. What cities are you most excited to visit? Are you playing somewhere new for the first time?
Yes! Thank God we are about to start a world tour. I’m very much looking forward to see LA and NYC. They are places I have never been to and have dreamt to experience.
What is your Zodiac Sign? What is the ideal way to celebrate your birthday?
I’m a Leo. I very much enjoy celebrating my birthday surrounded by my people – my family, my grandparents & my friends. Anything to get my family and friends together
If you could plan your own festival, what would be the name of the festival, where would it be located, and who would you want on the lineup?
I would call it Gotti Fest. It would take place in Monte Grande, the city where I was born & I would make it FREE. It would allow exposure for my friends and artists with little visibility.
We know you are about to launch your first album. How do you feel when you think of your debut?
The truth is, I see it as a blessing. We have been working on it for a while and it’s very emotional to know that the debut is getting closer and to know that previews for the album are being well received.
