Rocky Lynch from The Driver Era is back and in briefs
So, I told you guys The Driver Era would be the next big thing.
And guess what?
They are.
The brother-duo band, consisting of Rocky and Ross Lynch, now has 1.3 million followers on Instagram, and over 300K Spotify listeners per month.
Ross and Rocky are hot, hot, hot right now, and it’s obvious why – The Driver Era only has a few singles out right now, but the music that is out is alluring, well written, and extremely unique.
The duo just released their newest single, “Low,” about some personal experiences that Rocky had this past summer, and it’s a hit.
For December, Galore is focusing on our Crushes. We sat down with one half of The Driver Era and a major Galore Crush, bleach blonde Rocky, to discuss the band’s new single, his ideal first date, and what he looks for in a woman.

Tell us more about why you and your brother started The Driver Era!
R5 was no longer a good outlet for the ideas we were having. The Driver Era allows us more opportunity and room to create.
Tell us about the new single you just dropped, “Low.”
I wrote and produced Low over the Summer. It briefly describes the highs and lows I experienced while working on it.
What is your favorite song you’ve written after starting The Driver Era?
Probably “Low,” just because it’s fresh. Ask me that in a week and you’ll get a different answer.
Favorite movie of all time?
Rush Hour.
What is your ideal first date?
Drive to Santa Barbara.

They both seem to be pretty locked down at the moment, but I’m gonna have to say Bella, cuz I think my bro Ross and Gigi got looks for each other.
Do blondes have more fun (Rocky recently went blonde)?
Yes.
Craziest thing you have ever read about yourself?
Erotic fan fiction. Pretty good stuff there.

My laptop, a mic, bass, the Internet, other artists’ music, and sleep.
