Pamela Anderson Said No to ‘Baywatch’ Because They Wouldn’t Pay Her Enough

The upcoming “Baywatch” movie is most likely going to be C.J.-free, but it’s not Pamela Anderson‘s fault.

The acting and modeling icon stopped by the Wendy Williams Show today to talk about some new projects, and divulged that the reason she isn’t doing “Baywatch” is all about the money.

After she said this, Wendy looked at her in shock. But she stood up for herself.

“I mean, come on,” she said. “They made me an offer to come onto it, and it was half of what they would pay me for an episodic thing.”

She added that she’s thrilled the movie is happening — but she’s sure male actors like the Rock and Zac Efron aren’t doing the film out of the goodness of their hearts, either.

“They can offer me something respectable,” she said. “It’s not that I don’t want to do it. It’s about respect.”

And our respect for Pam just quadrupled. Hopefully, she’ll get the credit she deserves for sticking up for herself in this way — especially at a time when actresses and normal people alike are working for equal pay between men and women. Way to go, bb.

Watch the video below and learn more about Pam’s current projects — plus her sex tape, since, if you didn’t already know, she’s basically the originator of the celeb sex tape genre.
