Miley’s Wokeness Is Rubbing Off On Her Future In-Laws

While Miley Cyrus hasn’t always been a prime example of an uber-woke celebrity, these days she’s been acting so woke that it’s even rubbing off on her future in-laws.

Last year, Chris Hemsworth thought it would be a cool idea to celebrate New Year’s Eve at a Lone Ranger party and dress up like a Native American. But now that Miley’s a part of the family, Chris has suddenly taken it upon himself to apologize for his tragically unwoke sins.

Chris wrote on Instagram:

“I was stupidly unaware of the offense this may have caused the the sensitivity around this issue. I sincerely and and unreservedly apologize to all First Nations people for this thoughtless action. I now appreciate that there is a great need for a deeper understand of the complex and extensive issues facing indigenous communities. I hope that in highlighting my own ignorance I can help in some way.”

Last New Year’s Eve I was at a “Lone Ranger” themed party where some of us, myself included, wore the traditional dress of First Nations people. I was stupidly unaware of the offence this may have caused and the sensitivity around this issue. I sincerely and unreservedly apologise to all First Nations people for this thoughtless action. I now appreciate that there is a great need for a deeper understanding of the complex and extensive issues facing indigenous communities. I hope that in highlighting my own ignorance I can help in some small way.
