Lily-Rose Depp Figured Out a Way to Make Kitten Heels Look Cool
A few weeks ago, we broke the tragic news that fashion insiders decided kitten heels were cool again. But luckily for us all, Lily-Rose Depp has already figured out a way to make them cool.
First, she bumped up the heel just a little.
Don’t get us wrong, it’s still as puny as a watered-down cocktail, but it’s just tall enough to not look like a training bra heel.
Secondly, the shoe is interesting without looking like it’s trying too hard to be interesting.
The touch of zebra print is classy af and according to Vogue it’s not just any kind of zebra print, it’s the fuzzy faux fur kind you could zone out stroking when you smoke a fat j at the end of the day.
And last of all, the outfit she’s wearing them with is casual af – which might be the most important rule to file away in the back of your mind if you plan to try to make kitten heels work for yourself.
Even though the word “heels” is practically synonymous with the word “fancy,” unless you’re under the age of 13 or going out for the first time after breaking your ankle and you need to wear something with a heel for your own sanity, kitten heels should NEVER EVER be worn formally.
Because there’s nothing elegant about them – or thotty.
And TBH, they probably won’t even be any more comfortable than a regular pair of heels. In fact, they might hurt more.
Even if you’re not ready to embrace kitten heels yet – I know I’m not – it’s only a matter of time before you get brainwashed into thinking you need ten pairs, so bookmark this page for your future self.
It just might save her Insta feed.
