Why We’re Positive Lady Gaga’s New Single Will Be a Banger

Ok, Stefani, you have had enough time trying new things. Like acting in “American Horror Story”, recording a jazz album with Tony Bennett, and dressing almost like a normal person.

Basically, we are beyond ready for the rebirth of Gaga. Our disco-stick, meat-dress-wearing queen needs a hella comeback. Her last solo album, “ARTPOP,” dropped three years ago and although it flopped real hard, we have reason to believe that this new album will redeem her.

And we have all the proof that it’s about to happen.

Today, we got a new single announcement from most of Gaga’s social media accounts about her new single “Perfect Illusion.”

Even though the color scheme of the announcement is very “ARTPOP”-esque, we have reason to believe that Gaga is coming back with an album that will take us back to the “Fame” days.

And she has been posting for the last few years about working on LG5 in the studio with many different producers, including Mark Ronson, who has already called Gaga’s new album “incredible”.

Mark Ronson also confirmed that Tame Impala and producer BloodPop (formerly known as BloodDiamonds) were working with them via Instagram way back in May. This photo of Gaga, Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker, and producer BloodPop with the caption “Illusion” is definitely hinting at the single she just dropped today.

That foursome probably created some pop-psychedelic-featuring-a-lil-sax magic. So psyched to hear it.

Lady Gaga was also confirmed back in early 2015 to be working with legendary producer Giorgio Moroder on new music, and he’s basically responsible for the electronic wave of pop music that hit in the 80s.

Other producers she has been spotted with include Diane Warren, who helped her write the ballad “Til It Happens to You,” and Nile Rodgers, who helped her recreate CHIC’s hit “I Want Your Love” for Tom Ford’s S/S 2016 collection video.

She also posted on Instagram last fall about working the studio with RedOne, who helped her create the monster hits that made her a household name, such as “Just Dance” and “Poker Face”.

So not only is Gaga returning with an album full of collabs from several iconic af producers, she’s also rumored to perform at this year’s VMA’s (which Rihanna and Britney Spears have already confirmed that they will perform at too), and it might be a performance of a new single that people are calling “Chaos Angel.”

So is this enough proof that Gaga’s old sound is coming back? Maybe, but we really won’t know until we hear it, but we do know that Lady Gaga is ready for a new era after she fired her manager Troy Carter over “creative differences” surrounding “ARTPOP”.

We’re ready for new music when you are, Mother Monster.
