Wait What, Kim K Is Releasing an Updated ‘Selfish’ Next Week?
In a bizarre piece of news, even though Kim K is taking a break from social media and skipping out on KUWTK parties, she’s about to release a book next week.
An updated version of Kim’s cult classic coffee table book of selfies, Selfish, is coming out this Tuesday with two brand new chapters.
Some of the selfies will be new, some will be old, and some will have been as recent as the birth of little baby Saint!
As somebody who bought a copy of Selfish last year, this is exciting.
As somebody who’s been reading the news for the past two weeks, this is confusing.
Obviously, this publishing date was set in stone months ago and so there’s nothing that can be done, but you can’t deny that the timing is awkward at best and problematic at worst.
I can already see the hateful Instagram comments now and they are vicious as fuuuuuuuuuuuuck.
And you can bet that without a star to publicize the release, the book sales won’t be that stellar either, although you never know. Maybe Kim will get an outpouring of sympathy buys.
Either way, this won’t be the book launch that Kim was counting on, but as they say in the biz, the show must go on.
