The song explores being someone’s rebound and the emotional toll that follows.

“Shot in the Dark” is described as “a campy, midtempo ballad about willingly signing up to be someone’s rebound.”

Kramer explains, “You know nothing longterm will come of it, but you still say ‘f*** it – what if?’ and go along with it anyway.”

The track features a playful, cutesy vocal line and builds into a guitardriven outro that reveals “the quiet tragedy of sacrificing your own emotional needs just to feel wanted — all masked beneath an air of freespirited spontaneity.”

Kramer pulls inspiration from New York City nightlife, kawaii fashion, astrology, and iGeneration dating.

She merges internet culture, heartbreak, and vulnerability into witty storytelling.

Her debut single, “Relevant,” was a moody, tongueincheek critique of fame obsession and online validation.

It earned praise from Glamglare, Imprint Magazine, and She Makes Music, broke past 600,000 views, reached SiriusXM’s Pop Off!, featured on MTV platforms, and played in retail stores across 160 countries.

Kramer built a following from scratch, selling out shows in New York City and Los Angeles, and grew her TikTok following to 45,000 in just a month. A Northern California native, she studied drama at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, then left to focus on music.

Following her mother’s death, she channeled emotion into her art, promoted nightlife events, and developed grassroots momentum.

She signed with Suretone Records under the management of Hollywood music manager Jordan Schur.

A full debut album is expected in 2026, exploring what it means to crave connection.
