Kendall and Kylie’s New Collection Is Inspired by Paris & Xtina
Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner and their gaggle of babely friends have been steadily bringing more and more 2000s trends back to the forefront — and the sisters’ new collection, DropTwo, takes their aughts obsession even further.
The sisters confirmed the new Kendall + Kylie Collection has pieces inspired by millennium kweens Paris Hilton and Christina Aguilera. There’s even a denim mini with a slogan across the butt that’ll make you think you passed out and woke up in Kitson circa 2005.
W asked the sisters about the hints of Paris and Xtina all over their collection, and here’s what they had to say:
Kendall: Paris is a family friend, so like our big sisters we have always admired her fashion sense. At my 21st birthday party, I wore a dress inspired by the one Paris wore in 2002 at her 21st birthday party. She was there to celebrate with me that night and loved my look.
Kylie: The denim mini skirt in our DropTwo collection is inspired by Christina Aguilera circa 2000. I dressed up as her for Halloween this year. She is amazing!
Also on the list of 2000s trends the sisters are helping to bring back: wife beaters, low-rise pants, exposed lower abs, and yes: CAPRI PANTS!
All we have to say is: that’s hot.
