Kendall Deleted Instagram Because She Was Addicted
Three days ago, Kendall Jenner’s Instagram mysteriously vanished.
Nobody knew whether she deleted it, whether Instagram fucked up or wtf was going on, although we knew it would only be a matter of days before the truth came out.
Lo and behold, we were right.
Today on The Ellen Degeneres Show, Kenny admitted that she deleted her Instagram because the addiction got too real.
“I would wake up in the morning and look at it first thing; I would go to bed and it was the last thing I would look at,” Kendall said. “I felt a little too dependent on it. So I kind of wanted to take a minute. It’s a detox.”
And believe it or not, she actually thought nobody would care about it.
“It’s so crazy to me that it even became huge news like that. Like, I have no idea how that—I guess I didn’t expect it. But I also took my Twitter off my phone,” Kendall explained, “so I had no idea anyone was even talking about it.”
Why celebrities continue to pretend to be astonished that the rest of the world hangs on their every move continues to astonish me, but then again, what’s she supposed to do?
Admit she knew the world would freak out and an uptick in media mentions right before the Victoria’s Secret fashion show never hurt a gal?
Get real.
But don’t worry guys, this too shall come to pass.
Kendall hasn’t given up on the gram, she’s just taking a little cleanse.
