Sartre once said hell is other people, but Justin Bieber has a different theory: hell is Instagram.
Or at least he’s 90% sure that’s what’s going on.
During his concert in London on Tuesday night, Justin Bieber asked his fans, “who thinks I should get my Instagram back?” only it turned out to be a trick question, because Justin didn’t care what they thought. He’d already made up his mind.
“Nah, I don’t want to get my Instagram back,” Justin told them, before launching into a very unique explanation.
“Instagram is for the devil. I think hell is Instagram. I’m 90% sure,” Biebs told his audience, most of whom were probably on Instagram recording the moment. “We get sent to hell, we get like locked in the Instagram server.”
While admittedly this does sound like a decent idea for next season’s sci-fi blockbuster or an episode of Black Mirror, it’s also probably a sign that it’s probably time for Justin to take a break from the spotlight and ponder his existential theories in private.
