Josie may have big name parents, but her work ethic and her passion for modeling are what have gotten her ahead in her career. Josie has already modeled for Victoria’s Secret PINK ads, the Moschino runway, the Frankie’s Bikinis runway, and more.
The model trains tirelessly, especially at Dogpound, the NYC fitness center frequented by Gigi Hadid and other big names in the industry. Josie, according to her Instagram posts, seems to fitness train daily. She’s also super passionate about animal rescue, traveling, and all things beauty.
We have the honor of having Josie as one of our newest NYFW cover girls. Check out the photos and interview below and follow Josie for updates on her growing modeling career. Can’t wait to see what she cooks up this Fashion Week!

What are you most looking forward to this NYFW?
MY COVER! This is my second cover and it is such an honor to have another feature with the Galore family.
How did you first get into modeling?
I first started when I was 15. I was a dancer in high school, so it was not my main focus. I eventually did a shoot that was sent to agencies. As school was coming to an end, I met with my agency, Next, and they loved me. I moved to NY to give it a real try and the first job that I booked was Love Magazine. It has been an incredible experience ever since.
Favorite designer you’ve ever walked for and why?
My favorite that I have walked for has been Moschino. Jeremy Scott’s collections are always extravagant and bold. It is, by far, one of the most fun shows to walk!
Who would you love to walk for?
I would LOVE to walk for Alexander Wang or Phillip Plein. They are probably two of my favorite designers. Both shows have the most incredible energy. I always love the way they style their looks.

You post a lot of your workouts on Instagram. How do you stay fit? What kind of workouts do you do?
I have always been very high energy. I have played sports my whole life and I was a dancer. I love boxing and take classes at Rumble Boxing weekly. I also go to SoulCycle at least two to three times per week and I train with a personal trainer at Dogpound.
I am not too strict with my diet unless I have a huge job or casting coming up. In that case, I make sure I am focused on my diet and my workout. Other than that, I am not afraid to have some pizza or pasta!
What do you like to do on weekends?
I feel like my schedule as a model is so different from the norm that sometimes weekends are my week days! I am an only child, so whenever I have downtime between work and travel, I just like to relax and spend time with family and friends.
What are your interests outside of modeling?
I love to dance! I was a dancer for twelve years and still try to keep up with classes whenever I can. I also really love animals. I grew up volunteering on farms and at various shelters. I would go straight from school to a farm in the valley and spend the rest of my day there.
Two goals of mine – I hope one day to open up my own family dance studio and also create a non-profit for neglected and abused animals.
What kind of beauty products are a must have for you on the plane?
Lip balm!! I’m literally a lip balm freak. I have to have Aquaphor with me at all times. Also, I love any moisturizing or hydrating face mask. I am not too picky as I usually sleep the whole flight.

What’s your skincare routine?
I wash my face both morning and night with a gentle cleanser. I follow with the classic witch hazel toner. I use a light vitamin c oil, and then use EltaMD AM Therapy as a moisturizer and acne control. If I feel as though I need a little more moisture in my skin, I will use a little embryolisse moisturizer!
How do you do your hair every day?
I wish I had the motivation to do my hair every day! I usually let it dry after the shower and then I figure it out. I wear my hair up in a ponytail almost every day cause I hate when it is in my face. It is just the tomboy in me that does not really care. I also try to wear as little makeup as possible. The most that I will do for a simple day look is a tinted moisturizer from Laura Mercier and concealer.
Favorite place to eat in NYC?
By Chloe! I am not fully vegan, but I definitely make it a priority to stay away from animal and animal byproducts whenever possible. My only worry is that I am allergic to nuts and many vegan meals contain walnuts, cashews, etc. I am interested in learning more about it and hopefully learning my own recipes to use when I travel.
Favorite tourist-y thing to do in NYC?
A Broadway Show is my number one. I have seen “Wicked,” “Newsies,” “Book of Mormon,” and I hope to see “Lion King” and “Mean Girls” during my stay here!
What’s next for you?
I am focused on earning my spot in the Victoria Secret Fashion Show. Wish me luck!
