Meet Zach Miko, IMG’s first ever plus-size or, as they’re branding him, a “brawn” model.
26-year-old Zach is 6’6″and first made waves while modeling for Target, wearing their XXL clothes for a shoot on their website. Then, they called him “big and tall.”
Zach is married, and credits his wife for making him “feel attractive for the first time. He always felt which he always felt there was an issue with the way men were presented in fashion.
“These guys aren’t buying XXL tall T-shirts, these guys aren’t buying 42-inch pants, but they’re the guys you see modeling it,” he said in an interview with People.
“I want every man in America to say, ‘I can do that’ when they see Zach,” IMG President, Ives Bart told WWD. “The body positive messaging and size diversity is something that’s relevant and something that continues to be on everybody’s mind. We have to extend the conversation for men.”
