Cara Delevingne, Margot Robbie & Amber Heard Tried to Get Into a Strip Club for Free

We’re constantly being told every day that celebrities are just like us, and sometimes something happens that really makes you believe that’s true. Sometimes celebrities go to the strip club, decide it’ll be really cute and fun to demand free entry, and then have to leave when some humorless bouncer squashes their dream.

This is the Cara Delevingne, Margot Robbie and Amber Heard story.

On Friday night, Cara Delevingne and her BFF Margot Robbie decided to do something nice for their friend Amber Heard to celebrate the fact that she was no longer legally married to Johnny Depp.

Obviously, they decided to go to a strip club named SophistiCats in London.

Unfortunately, they decided to let Cara take the lead in getting them in.

At the time, according to what SophistiCats owner Simon Langer told the Daily Mail, “the club was full and there was a small queue outside but Cara was adamant that they should be let in immediately and without having to pay the £20 entry price.”

Believe it or not, but according to Simon, who would have heard all this secondhand from whichever bouncers were working that night, Cara allegedly “kept telling the staff, ‘Don’t you know who I am? I’m Cara Delevingne. I’m Cara and this is my friend Amber who just got divorced.'”

TBH, this is a classic drunk girl move.

When I studied abroad in London, I had a friend who would always get borderline blackout and then tell bouncers that she was an Australian pop star just to see what would happen.

She thought it was fun, and even though the act almost never worked, she never gave up on the dream that her fake fame would open doors for us.

Maybe Cara and my drunk friend have that tendency in common, only Cara just so happens to actually be famous.

Either way, when that didn’t work, Simon says Cara allegedly tried to change her tone and appeal to the bouncer’s sense of reason by saying, “Let us in. We just want to see some girls dancing and have some fun.”

But even then, Cara couldn’t sweet talk her way into getting the bouncers to bend the rules and in the end, she allegedly left in a huff, although knowing Cara this could have all been an elaborate prank that she’ll tell us all about on late night television some day.

Still, celebrities, let this be a lesson to you.

Unless you’re Rihanna and come ready to spend $15,000, when you’re at the strip club, you’re just a regular person like the rest of us.

Doesn’t life just suck?
